Spherical-plain bearings with rollers or balls

Spherical plain bearings are ready-to-install, standardised machine elements which are jointed and allow space for adjustment movements. The inner ring is spherical on the outside, while the outer ring has a hollowed spherical interior.

The forces on the bearing may be static in nature or, in the presence of tilting or swivelling movements, may occur at relatively low sliding velocities.

DURBAL creates a 100% control measuring for the radial clearance at each spherical-plain bearing of the Premium Line. THE ORIGINAL with all the well-known technical benefits can be purchased from DURBAL only!

The heavy-duty spherical plain bearings of the DURBAL Premium Line with integral self-aligning roller bearing are low maintenance. The spherical plain bearings with cage design and integral self-aligning roller bearings are particularly suited to applications involving high speeds, while the spherical plain bearings with full complement design and integral self-aligning roller bearings are suited to higher loads. Both spherical plain bearings are well-suited to large swivelling angles or rotating movements.

Covering discs on both sides prevent the penetration of coarse dirt particles inside the bearing, thereby ensuring a longer service life.

The heavy-duty spherical plain bearings of the DURBAL Premium Line with integral self-aligning ball bearing are also low maintenance and have low bearing friction. These spherical plain bearings are particularly suited to high speeds. These spherical plain bearings are also used for large swivelling angles or where there are rotating movements.

Covering discs on both sides prevent the penetration of coarse dirt particles inside the bearing, thereby ensuring a longer service life.

Mainly all sizes of our DURBAL Premium Line heavy-duty spherical plain bearings with roller- and ball bearing are available in stainless steel.

Durbal spherical plain bearings are used in the food industry, in construction machinery and for cranes and fork-lift loaders, as well as in joints of all kinds.
