Declaration in accordance with EC Directive 2011/65/EC on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS)
On June 8th, 2011 with the entry into force of the new version of the "Law on the marketing, return and environmentally sound disposal of electrical and electronic equipment", the requirements of the EC Directives 2011/65/EU (RoHS) were transposed into German law.
The central concern of the law is the reduction of pollutants in electronics as well as the prevention and reduction of electronic scrap through re-use. Threshold values for pollutants have been in force since 1st, July 2006 and include lead, mercury, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) and chromium VI compounds.
Durbal Metallwarenfabrik GmbH develops, produces and sells products that aren't directly affected by the law. Nevertheless our products can be part of an used in applications that apply to the law mentioned above.
In accordance with our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification, we are in constant dialogue with our suppliers, among other things to ensure that all products supplied comply with RoHS.
